I miss swing dancing.

Two more weeks. I might pass out from swing deprevation.

Owl be seeing you...

I crack myself up sometimes...

Anyway, I've been in a fowl mood as of late after discovering one fine blustery day a couple of weeks ago that one of my favorite shirts has not only flowers in its print but swallows! The fact pleased me to no end. Ever since then I've been on the search for anything avian related.

Beware the Ides of March

Ah, the Ides of March.

We had to memorize that speech in the video for English class and there I discovered my knack for memorization. If you ever need an impromptu recitation of Hamlet's soliloquoy or if you ever stumble across a poetry recital in some smoky little cafe and need someone dressed a la beatnik to mutter some Keats or Frost or whathaveyou, I'm your gal.

Two years ago, we had watched a Mad Max version of Macbeth where the original language and setting and scenes were kept but all the characters wore modern day clothing. It was the most interesting movie I've ever seen and now I can't read Shakespeare without imagining Antony and Cleopatra in tuxedos and evening gowns (respectively) or Romeo and Juliet in skinny jeans and hipster t-shirts. I think that's the moment I fell in love with Shakespeare's works.

Mmm, but it's time to finish that homework. More later. Parting is such sweet sorrow and all that.
